Pat is a graduate of American Academy of Dramatic Arts. She continued her studies at HB Studio with the Ibsen Master Earle Hyman and the legendary Ute Hagen.Eventually, Pat realized that sometimes dreams have to wait. She stepped away from her dream to act and along with two Broadway actors formed Fleetwood Stage, an Equity Regional Theatre which ran for 11 seasons. Pat acted as Production Manager, Stage Manager, Costumer and after a sudden firing of an actress took to the boards with 3 days rehearsal. A trooper she learned her lines, found the light and even managed to remain truthful to the playwrights' character.
Pat has gone on to act in scores of movies, beginning with wonderful student films to create her first reel and expanding to the world of shorts where she has played a variety of characters. In her first feature Anything for You she played an 80 year old Grandma.
Pat has fallen in love with film after a long love affair with theatre and has formed Pate Productions to pursue projects close to her heart. Her first short A Younger Man as producer/actress is making the festival circuit. Along with producing partners Choice Films and Movie Ranch Entertainment their second project, the feature Junction, a genre thriller in beginning subission to festivals. Future film projects are in development.
So, whether she’s the spokesperson for a health care company, or the mother celebrating her child’s triumphs, the homeless woman tugging at your heart, or as a real life fitness instructor Pat offers a curiosity, a vivaciousness and a potent accessibility. She’s someone you want to know.
Pat is a true believer that “while some dreams may have to wait, they can and do eventually come true.”
